Urgh, why does my world-building-creativity have to be stuck on "New Naruto Hidden Village". This is so annoying. Noone wants one of those, and the cool bits are too tied up in that metaphysics to port cleanly.

(Secret answer: I've read 500k words of Naruto self-insert fic in the past week or two. Why. I haven't even seen Naruto.)
