A Quarnmeme

(let me note that "Quranmeme" bugs me a lot - it should clearly be "Quarantmeme")
YOU STAYING HOME FROM WORK OR SCHOOL?
The uni will not allow people on campus, and I'm unemployed, so no leaving the house for me! Except for groceries. Important Important groceries. (The day the uni closed my CompSci lecturer demanded we go in anyway and then sent us an email an hour before class saying he'd been kicked off campus; one of my other lecturers has just given up on teaching entirely. So it's all rather suboptimal)
IF YOU’RE STAYING HOME, WHO IS THERE WITH YOU?
I was sharing my student housing apartment with seven other people, two of whom have returned to their homes (somewhere local for one, and japan for the other), and one of whom spent a month with her boyfriend but has since returned, I believe. The other four have remained. We have not interacted substantially more now than we did before, which is to say that if we're making dinner at the same time we chat about whatever.
ARE YOU A HOMEBODY?
Yep! I was hoping to do more exploration of the city, and maybe even *gasp* have a social life, but the lack of such hasn't really hurt. All the physical RPGs being canceled just makes the fact that all my back-home friends are bringing their games online that much more accessible.
AN EVENT THAT YOU WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT GOT CANCELLED?
*shrugs* "the option to leave the house to go to random places", my weekly trip to the very-nice-and-very-cheap-but-on-the-other-side-of-the-train-network import grocers? A local VTM game that wasn't really going anywhere? (Well it was online for a couple sessions but doesn't look to have taken to the medium well). Nothing I'm heartbroken about.
WHAT MOVIES HAVE YOU WATCHED RECENTLY?
N/A;my brain doesn't do movies without social glue.
WHAT SHOWS ARE YOU WATCHING?
A little doctor who with some friends, see movies.
WHAT MUSIC ARE YOU LISTENING TO?
I have decided to take this chance to reconstruct my master playlist from first principles; I am listening to every song in my collection until I have a good sense for it (generally album-by-album), and discarding it or adding it as the situation demands. Playlist is currrently ~300 songs, ~20 hours, and I'm at (in alphabetical order) "April Smith and The Great Picture Show". It's gonna be a while. (I got very stuck on the portal soundtracks because it's a big chunk of hard-to-differentiate music, and active listening is tiring so I don't do it all the time). Highlights thus far include "Ancient Lasers" (v. obscure band plug; have fun trying to figure out how thier songs are obliquely about the singularity), and "Alex Reed" (who I recommend in the form of his actual band "Seeming" even if the random patreon tracks and weird side-projects he has under his own name are also very good (but I haven't gotten to 'S' yet))
WHAT ARE YOU READING?
More things than I can easily keep track of; my reading list is infinite and I can hardly keep it all straight. Stuff that I have read recently that I can think of off the top my head; the TTRPG "Fragged Kingdom" (psuedo-scifi high-fantasy adventures with logistics and tactical maps), the light novel "I favour the villainess" (Otome self-insert (how is that a genre?) but it's gay), Serious Eats (Online cooking site, very hardcore and detailed but with a little care you can ignore all the stupid overwrought bits and produce something which didn't take all day and a hundred dollars to make), a bunch of fanfic of no particular note, some glowfic, the constant flow of webnovels (I highly recommend Katalepsis, a excellent webnovel about making friends in a cosmic horror setting; it's really good)
WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR SELF CARE?
... I do not think I have changed any behaviors during these times specifically with intent of self-care, but the normal routines of removing forks from my workload, reading cool things, and eating good foods continues mostly unaffected.
I will admit the whole "tagging" deal is kinda uncomfortable for me even if I quite enjoy being tagged; if you want to do this thing, feel free to pretend I asked you to.
