I'm not crying, you're crying.

Is this what religious fervor feels like? Like crying and cheering and knowing that it's going to be alright? I'm incredibly easily moved by space exploration, but even so.
(There's a part of me in the back of my skull which is just sitting there saying "wow they have a good marketing team". Because it's not like this is a break-point, a radical change. It's not even like I truely think NASA is a keystone to getting us into space. But even so, even so. We're going back (I swear to god, we're going back). I think, maybe, if I could see a colony, a real one, one which can survive by itself, before I die, I'd die content. That wouldn't be so bad. And they wouldn't make propaganda for a project like that if they weren't trying).

(I have no idea *why* - it was a good prediction, but I think it's missing some cues for "this is grand and monumentous" or something)
