... okay yeah education products should not be making banner ads, I feel the same way seeing signs for my high school on bus shelters. But that's why I was emphasising the more-respectable ads as being more viable - for people with lots of respect for the thing already they do cause a downwards update but they can I think sometimes in an ideal world be respectable enough to leave someone who was previously ignorant that a product or service exists with a positive opinion of that product or service, and that's the role which e.g. podcast/youtube "and now a break for our sponsor" ads try to take, I think?
